My new History book

As I sit in the family room of my Uncle Wayne's and Aunt Deb's "flat" drinking tea and having a right good time, I look out there window and can see the world happening all around. Its a magical place, a home filled with love, family, laughter, joy, truth, && red wine :) I could not have asked for a better place to stay, they have been wonderful. Deb cooks "tea" ( which means dinner) every night and she is the most wonderful cook. Its been lovely being around her and my uncle, really lovely.

The first morning I was here, I went out to the living room, the window was open and you could hear everyone in there english accents. It was a dream come true haha. I just sat there with my tea listening to mother talk with there children, and all ages of kids walking and talking. Uncle Wayne's Flat is in the main round about near the schools, all kids walk to school here so they all walk through the path by his house, making waking up early enjoyable. You get to see the real everyday life of everyone going to and from. Some times as mums yell at there children you want to go down & hug them, until you realize that is how they yell at there children here, every culture is different. Overall though it has been a joy watching life below from up high.

All my Uncles took me to Sandringham House, It's where the Queen and her family go for Christmas. It was a amazing house. Beautiful ground, lovely house, and just a fantastic place to see. We went around the garden, there were so many flowers, waterfalls, a man built cave, and overall a lovely place to have a picnic- one day when it is warm & because it's such a beautiful place i might just have to do that.

Uncle Ryan took me to Ely to see the MASSIVE cathedral. We took a tour that took us to the top-where we were aloud on the roof! It was a crazy experience, one i will always remember. Like my mum i discovered I am scared of heights. The stairwell was a "Alice & wonderland experience" the further you climb, the smaller the steps and stairwell became. As we went through the last door, it stood 3.5 Feet tall. I'm just glad i'm not 6 feet tall & 50 pounds heavier because i don't know if you would make it ;) The church has been standing sense like the 14 century, it has the longest uninterrupted hall way to pulpit- so as soon as you walk in you see how grand it is because you see all the way down to where the priest stands. It was just a sight to see, if you make it to England- GO && be sure to pay for the tour, its worth it.

Ryan and I Also made it to Cambridge because it's so COLD here & I didn't bring a winter jacket, we went about until we found one. Thank gosh we found one though because today is about 46* and about 15-20MPH winds.
It still does not stop me from dreaming about living here though, maybe it really will become a possibility :)

I have had so many great Cakes & Sweets. Every time I go to a new town, i have  to get one. Excuse... every country has so many different sweets- its a sin not to try them ;)

Yesterday was great because I got to spend time with uncle David, Ashley, Lynsey, && Kelly. I helped make the traditional Shepard's pie- now i can make it at home for everyone.
---Yesterday i also got to help in Aunt Debs class. She helps teach a cooking class at the college. She works with handicap kids teaching them a way to be successful on their own. Its such a cool class, with such a wonderful ground a Young Adults wanting to learn how to be independent. I went in with her at Half 8, and cooked. It was great watching her interact with them all, and just learning more in the kitchen.

Today i made the 2 mile walk into "town" which is where all the shops are, I made it all by myself without asking for directions and without rain!! Thats a successful day in its self if i do say so myself. Now i just have to make the walk back haha. Hopefully it wont be raining tonight.

Tonight i'm going to dinner with Ski, I'm looking forward to it :)

Anyways. i'm going to go about & see what I can find in the shops.

Love &&  miss you all!!!  Hope all is well.
