Home sweet Home

Love- the word has so many different meanings, it can describe so many different things, it can bring happiness, it can also be the source of your biggest heartbreak but overall LOVE is something every human searches for in the hopes to find. Some people can live in the "gray" area; me- I live in the black & white. Over the past week we have moved back home, made mom as comfortable as possible, and just enjoyed our time. Many people stop by to say hi, some people stay for a few minutes until they get overwhelmed with emotion & some people stay for a few hours just to soak in maybe the last few smiles from my momma that they will ever see. Whether someone stays for a few minutes or a few hours our house is filled with LOVE. A woman was here a few days ago & before she left she pulled me to the side to tell me that God is in his house, his presence if felt, and happiness surrounds. I know it sounds weird but it was a comfort to me, and I fully believe God's love has engulfed this home, and he is using it to the fullest!

Momma has been home about a week now, she has a hospital set up in the house to make her comfortable. We are officially signed up for Hospice, and the nurses have been great so far. The past few days mom has been using less pain meds and her nausea has declined :) this is such a blessing and a huge answer to prayer! Momma Foos came with us to Tessa's baby shower this weekend. She walked, and was out and about for a few hours- she really enjoyed it. We are talking about going to the zoo tomorrow if the weather is ok. Mom is really doing alright right now considering the situation and we are taking control of everyday & just making memories and loving our time.

I know this blog is short, but I am so sleepy- I will write more tomorrow with a better explanation of what's going on and what the next few days will look like.

Love you all

Goodnight :)
